We Will Never Forget!
Today marks the 22nd anniversary of one of the worst days in our nation’s history. On Sept. 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 men and women were killed in devastating terrorist attacks in New York; Washington, D.C.; and Pennsylvania, including more than 400 first responders.
Those we lost on Sept. 11 will be honored and remembered in observances all across the country this weekend, including one at Pennsylvania’s own Flight 93 Memorial, near the site where one of the four planes hijacked that day crashed. The remembrance program will begin at 9:50 a.m. and will be streamed live here.

Tar and Chip Claim Forms Available
Do you or someone you know need to submit a claim to PennDOT for damage because of road maintenance? Click here to file a claim.
Looking ahead, I've made it a legislative priority to thoroughly investigate the overall use of tar and chip across the Commonwealth. As we move forward, I want to emphasize that in the upcoming fall legislative session, I am fully committed to addressing the concerns surrounding tar and chip resurfacing head-on. I'm actively collaborating with the non-partisan Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to conduct a comprehensive study on the cost-effectiveness of this method of road repair.
Furthermore, I have established a partnership with the Penn State Materials Lab to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the materials used in the tar and chip practice.
If you have any comments on this practice, please call our Fairview Twp. District Office at (570) 403-2371.

Hard-to-Read License Plate Event Thursday
Be sure to join me this Thursday, Sept. 14, from 4-7 p.m., for the Hard-to-Read License Plate Event at my Nanticoke District office.
If your license plate is blistered, peeling or discolored, we will have the required PennDOT form to fill out. There is NO FEE for this service. Bring your vehicles and an officer will be available to help complete the application.
You can skip the wait by visiting our office ahead of time and filling out the form. Then just show up the day of the event for the Nanticoke Police to sign off on the form!
